Covid-19 coronavirus policy

What's happening during the current coronavirus crisis.

This is a very difficult time for everybody, but in order to keep our holiday accommodation, our guests, ourselves  and the village safe, we regret to say that we are unable to accept any new bookings for the 12 week isolation period 21st March - 4th July, 2020.

If you've already booked a holiday with us during this period, then you should have received an email from us already explaining the situation and requesting that you let us know what you want to do. In case it got lost in the ether, here's what it said .

Our standard cancellation policy, as laid out under ' Terms', states that we will not refund any money paid
towards a stay at our holiday bungalow 'Oakroyd' unless we are able to re-book your dates - in which case we will refund your money, less a £10 handling charge.
Due to the ongoing, worrying situation caused by the COVID-19 coronavirus, we will understand should you wish to cancel your holiday. Under these extreme circumstances we will refund, in full, any money you have paid to secure your holiday without taking the handling fee. Just send us an email or a letter stating that you wish to cancel your holiday, giving the dates, and telling the reason for the cancellation.

Don't forget, we can always defer your  holiday until September / October where there are available dates or even re-book you  for 2021. Hopefully by then life will have returned to  normal.
